“But You, O Lord…are my glory and the lifter of my head.” ~Psalm:3:3

Life is a journey of many years. Another birthday, another day added to the journey. It’s time to worship and give honor to God my Heavenly Father, to Jesus my Savior, my Redeemer, my Rock my Refuge and shelter from all storms of life, He is my everything! God is a wonder, an awe, I marvel at His amazing love. Who am I that God is thinking of me at this very moment, His thoughts towards me are GOOD. “He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.” (Psalm 18:16).

I will sing with David to the Lord, I will magnify Him, I declare before all as David the psalmist says, “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” ~Psalm 3:3. “I love you Lord, and I lift my voice, to worship you O my soul rejoice. Take joy my King, in what you hear, let it be a sweet sweet sound in your ear.”

God heals the bruises of sins, He restores and put the repentant hearts back together. “A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench…” (Isaiah 42:3,Matt.12:20). The world judges unfairly but God is the righteous Judge. My hope is in God. He values me, He is my just Judge, my Redeemer, my glory and the lifter of our my head.

The Lord is a treasure to be found by those who are in the darkness. David says, “You O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” (Psalm 18:28). And here’s more, For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness, made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus.” (2 Cor.4:6) It is Jesus, the Light of the world who transforms the deepest darkness – whether it be sorrow, pain or despair. WOW!

Dear God, I am in awe of You! Thank you for your amazing love, amazing grace, how sweet the sound…

Prayer: Lord, let Your Light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for visiting God bless you!
